A student interested in pursuing graduate entry medicine will want to prioritise modules that cover clinical genetics. In Cambridge there is a programme for graduate entry medicine that several of our former students have been accepted on.

A student wishing to pursue a career as a clinician might want to consider the following combination of modules:
GM1 - An introduction to human genetics and genomics
GM2 - Omics techniques and their application to genomic medicine
GM3 - Genomics of common and rare inherited diseases
GM4 - Molecular pathology of cancer and application in cancer diagnosis, screening, and treatment
GM6 - Pharmacogenetics and stratified healthcare
GM7 - Bioinformatics, interpretation and data quality assurance in genome analysis
GMO2 - Counselling skills for genomics
GMO5 - Epigenetics and epigenomics
Research Project (clinically focused)
